Backup is a compliance control
PCI DSS, HIPAA, and the NY SHIELD Act all expect you to be able to recover. Our backup service pairs with a written Backup & Recovery Policy and disaster recovery plan, so the control exists on paper and in practice.
The question to ask any backup vendor
"When did you last restore my data, and how long did it take?" If they can't answer, you don't have a backup — you have a subscription. We can answer, with dates.
