Veteran-owned. North Country–grown.
Northern Computers has served Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties since 1999 — long enough to have wired buildings twice and supported three generations of the same family businesses.
Our story
NNYOnline, Inc., doing business as Northern Computers, was built on a simple idea: North Country businesses deserve the same caliber of IT as companies ten times their size, delivered by neighbors who answer the phone. Twenty-seven years later we operate our own data center, support more than 100 organizations including 15+ municipalities, and have grown from break-fix computer work into a full managed services and compliance practice.
Service runs in the company
We're veteran-owned, with veterans across three generations on staff. Military service teaches things no certification can: disciplined process, documentation, accountability, and calm under pressure. Those habits show up in how we label a patch panel and how we run an incident response.
Being minutes from Fort Drum, we take that connection seriously — including actively mentoring transitioning Soldiers into information technology careers. Some of the best technicians in this industry started their second career with us.

What clients can count on
Straight answers
We'll tell you what you need — and just as importantly, what you don't. No fear-based selling.
Documentation discipline
Every environment we touch gets documented to a written standard. Your IT knowledge shouldn't live in one person's head — including ours.
Long relationships
Our average client relationship is measured in years, not contracts. We earn renewals with service, not lock-in.
